Volunteering

Join us as we work together to make a difference for people living with ME/CFS.

Everyone on the team at ME/CFS South Australia is a volunteer. Most of us have ME/CFS or care for someone with the illness. We rely on the generosity of volunteers to provide our wide range of services to South Australians living with ME/CFS, their carers and families.

Volunteering at ME/CFS SA has been very rewarding. I am a high-achiever who found it hard to retire early due to ME/CFS. Volunteering with ME/CFS SA has allowed me to find meaning in new opportunities.

We welcome your contribution. There are roles to suit everyone, with most work being undertaken online.

  • Have a look at our teams and our services to see if any of our work matches your interests and skills.
  • If you have an interest in something we currently do not offer, we are always open to new ideas and helpers.
  • We are always looking for volunteers - it can be as little as helping with a single task or as much as joining a team.
  • Whatever you can offer, your help will be valued and assist in building a stronger organisation to serve our community.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us and have a chat.

Celebrating our volunteers past and present

The present team builds on the contributions of the many volunteers since our establishment in 1987.
