Artist Comment

Creating pictures with fine liners can largely be done from a comfortable chair, which I have found to be a very relaxing activity when ME/CFS makes sitting up challenging.

Description of the artwork

In Darryl's Garden: Black and white line art. A lone Kookaburra sits facing left, while standing on a piece of branch. A eucalyptus branch of leaves extends over the bird. The insides of the bird and leaves are decorated in various patterns (including floral and lines) to create visually interesting textures.

Magpie: Black and white line art. A magpie stands on a fallen log at the foot of a gum tree which has several branches of leaves floating overhead. All of the insides of the bird, tree, log and leaves are textured with swirls, lines, and floral motifs.
