Dr Maria Alejandra Piñero de Plaza and our Advocacy Lead, Penelope McMillan, are leading a research collaboration to better understand and meet the needs of people who are are frail, homebound and bedridden.

Seminar

Maria Alejandra presented findings that support our ongoing advocacy, seeking access to telehealth for people who are homebound.

The early stages of the project are described on this page: Highlighting the Unseen. It includes a powerful video that has been used to describe the current circumstances in Australia. The project next undertook a survey to better understand the challenges faced by people who are excluded from the primary healthcare system.

Protocol for the systematic review that was discussed in the presentation.
