AGM and Seminar: Bateman Horne Center
Topic: PEM management tips from their clinical experience; clinical implications of their current research and how these impact patient care.
About the speakers
Saeed Abbaszedeh has been a Physician Assistant at the Bateman Horne Center (BHC) since 2021, specializing in patients with ME/CFS and Long COVID. He holds a BS in psychology with a neurobiology minor in biochemistry and a master’s in physician assistant studies from the University of Utah. Abbaszedeh has two decades of experience, advanced training in internal medicine, pediatric and adult neurology, and a focus on long COVID, ME/CFS, FM, and related comorbidities.
Tahlia Ruschioni is an experienced leader in curriculum development, program management, and healthcare training. She has cultivated partnerships and expanded educational initiatives across diverse healthcare settings, including hospital systems, state community center boards, NIH-supported programs, and medical universities. Under her leadership, the Bateman Horne Center (BHC) has significantly broadened the reach of medical education programs, offering accredited courses to healthcare professionals globally. As Deputy Executive Director and the Education Director at BHC, Tahlia plays a pivotal role in driving practice change and is committed to improving the lives of patients with ME/CFS, Long COVID, and related infection-associated chronic conditions.
